Now owned by Millipore, Upstate offered cell signaling reagents, services, and technology platforms used by researchers for drug discovery. With a geographically distributed international sales force, Upstate needed a means to quickly get sales reps up to speed on product specifics. They turned Creative Perspectives to produce a modular approach for delivering an online training and testing program.
The training was designed to give the sales team a basic understanding of protein phosphorylation and its role in drug discovery. Creative Perspectives produced a series of short, focused training modules on Upstates product line including the KinaseProfiler™.
The program covered both scientific as well as technical issues. As such, Creative Perspectives worked closely with Upstate scientists and marketing personnel to gather appropriate material for each section and organize it for the training program.
Graphics were multipurposed from marketing materials and custom charts, tables and diagrams were produced to support each training module.
The series of live training sessions was followed by an online assessment module that enabled learners to gauge their mastery of protein phosphorylation and product features of the KinaseProfiler™.
